The Solo 2+ NFC is the Solo 2 with NFC added, sold for around forty six United States dollars. It is one of a small number of inexpensive NFC capable open hardware FIDO2 keys, which makes it interesting for users who want both open hardware and tap to authenticate against a phone or NFC reader.

The protocol stack is the same as the standard Solo 2: FIDO2 with discoverable credentials and U2F, no PIV, no OATH, no biometrics.
