About The U2F Garden

The U2F Garden is a community catalog of hardware FIDO and U2F security keys. The goal is to help you compare what is on the market when you are picking a key for yourself, your family, or a small organisation, and to give honest writeups on the parts that vendor product pages tend to gloss over.

The site is built with Hugo and is open source on GitHub. Contributions, corrections, and new key writeups are welcome through pull requests.

The catalog tries to stay vendor neutral. There are no affiliate links and no paid placements. When a product has a known issue or has been discontinued, the entry says so plainly. When a vendor’s marketing is misleading, the entry points it out. When something is genuinely good, the entry says that too.
